Blessing of Animals
If we study the bible we do not find anywhere that animals are to be led in procession through the church for blessings. Bible does say we are to treat animals fairly. As a Christian I'm against any animal cruelty that I see being done in the meat industries. I’m also against bring animals into the church including pigs which are still considered unclean and not for consumption and blessing them.
The scriptures warn against treating animals unjustly and is plainly understood.
1 Timothy 5:18 - For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer [is] worthy of his reward.
The Catholic church is the embodiment of all things pagan and animal worship is present around the world. As a Christian you should not be surprised as Romans 1:25 states: For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
The bible goes on to say the wold will worship the beast which is the world order and the Mother of Harlots that rides its (Roman Catholic Church).
Revelation 13:8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names have not been written in the Lamb's book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.
As much as you love your animal this is paganism and rebellion against GOD no different than a Priest who blesses a little baby. All who take part in this feel good pagan day are in danger of Judgment.
